Behavioral Targeting is the targeting of users based on their online activity through cookies. This allows us to see which sites users have visited and enables us to display relevant ads based on the users surfing habits within a given time frame of your choosing.  

Re-targeting technology is capable of creating a unique client base of visitors to your website, by placing a segment pixel on your home page or other locations within your websites.  With this technology, we can re-target ads from your campaigns to those clients who have expressed their interest but have not yet converted (made a purchase, created a lead, opened a new account, etc.)

For example (let’s create a diagram):
A client comes to your site, sees the various offers, and leaves without converting. The client is then tagged with an XtendMedia ad-server cookie. The client proceeds to search for a related product/service in a search engine or on related sites. The user is then resent to your site with a second, more attractive offer.

Personal Identifiable Information (PII) – During the process mentioned above, no PII data is collected or stored in XtendMedia cookies. The user's data remains completely anonymous and the only usage of collected data is to improve targeting of served ads to the user.
